This is my second attempt at trying to recap our summer, do that pulse check. Are we doing the things we want to do, making the most of our summer...let's see.
So there was Chicago, then we came home to the last few days of school. And there was a little graduation ceremony....Hand in Hand was a good place for us to be again this year, and as much as we will miss Teacher Susan, we are looking forward to the adventures ahead in first grade.
We celebrated the end of school traditionally with Mary/Dale at Great Wolf Lodge.
This was a great trip to GW for Jackson, he got to ride the big rides, and LOVED THEM!!
My youngest nephew graduated from high school, where does time go?!
Meeting friends at the park, then to the drive-through for a treat on a warm day.
Jackson participated in a VBS program with Teacher Susan at her church. Jackson had a BLAST!!! Literally was so sad when it ended, met great friends and God's spirit moved him in ways that it hasn't before and for that I'm thankful.
In June, we went to see Lion King with Grandma Sharon and Aunt Jenny. That was really special.
Jackson lost his 6th tooth! Woozers!
We had our first S'more roast....extra large marshmallows are the in-thing this year...
So these recaps are taking longer than expected....I should do this blog thing more often!! More to come soon.
