It's been a while - a really long while. I've missed this place, this blog place. A couple of things are jump starting me back into the blogging world.
One, I started blogging as a place to capture the things that make my life what it is. A place to look back and see how we have grown, a place to possibly capture where we want to go and record the everyday, the funny stories, the craziness that make us, us. I found a web site to print my blog into a book form. And this is such a great way to keep my blog around - outside of cyber world. I got it today, and I've flipped through it a bit - I can't wait to sit down with it and remember all of our life from the last couple of years.
Two, this is a way for me to make some time, take some time for myself. I like being able to write some things down, show my pictures, capture the memories. So I want to take more time for myself. Our life has been crazy busy and I need to make myself a priority - this is one way I can do that.
So here we go, back into it. I uploaded some pics from my camera today and found some from Easter that I hadn't even offloaded. So let's start with Easter.
Our friends Cooper and Olivia joined us to color eggs this year. I thought it would be "fun" to put vinegar in the dye to make the color more intense - little did I know that it would turn Cooper's hands green - luckily his mom used her super powers to make it less intense for church Sunday morning.
Sunday morning we went to church, always makes me feel so good to sit in the pews that so many in my family have sat in before us and celebrate the Easter season. A blessing indeed. And Sunday afternoon we spent a really relaxing day with the Kilways and Takahatas. Boys running around, dads watching over them and us moms catching up. I couldn't have asked for anything better. And the meal - delicious!
And a little bunny cake to round out the day.
So this is it...watch for more...I promise.

Aw, it's always nice when my son's green hands make it onto someone's blog. You forgot his green face. And WOW, nice bunny cake. You're hired! You forgot the adorable bunny tails.
